- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I went to Mountain Trek not expecting a lot. I'm a reasonably active guy who eats half decently and doesn't have a high-stress job. Wow. Was I wrong. After one week I had gained muscle, decreased my body fat %, and was sleeping better than I ever have. The trails we hiked were breath-taking and lounging in the spa in the evenings under the stars was thoroughly relaxing. At first I was concerned about the food portions but turns out I was never hungry and the food is incredible! Salmon, stew, omelettes and, my favourite, bliss balls. Definitely not the type of fare I was expecting for a health spa. After one week I felt like a new human being: energized, healthy, strong and revitalized. The only downside to the whole experience was having to leave. Can't wait to return one day soon.By Vince Hempsall, January 27, 2017
